Last night I re-installed Windows XP onto my computer.
I had to place it onto the D drive to avoid deleting all
my files/folders etc on C drive.
I now wish to transfer all my data from C onto D. Or
maybe place XP onto C.
The free space on C is 45.4gb whereas on D it is 1.05gb.

How do I go about this?

I realise I need to backup my data on C but I don't know
how to do this.

.
Windows is on your D: drive? and only 1gb left. hoW
big is D: and if what I understand is correct and if
this is the case then. C: still has un-operatable Windows
files. Change D: to Master and C: to slave. Then what is
now D: becomes C: as it has the OS right? And C: becomes
D: where you can move stuff around make more room on D:
by looks of it. If I got it what you have there correct.
