I currently have two desktop computers with Windows XP
Professional installed on each.I purchased both XP
upgrades and both were activated.
Recently Computer #2 received a virus that caused damage
and critical files to be lost. I decided to re-install XP
and start over, or fix the problems. However, upon
looking, I only found my disk for computer #1, not both.
If I have already activated the OS on #2 and it was
activated, can I use the disk for #1 to reinstall or
repair/replace files?
I don't think I should have to pay another few hundred
bucks because of this.
Thanks!
