re-install with existing XP key ...... Possible????????

I need to do a re-install of windows XP pro and was wondering if this is
possiblewith my existing key or not???? any help would be appreciated
 
Without more info an answer isn't possible. Explain the situation, what type
of XP disk, where you got it, and what exactly your trying to do. If your
just doing a repair install on the machine, then yes you would use the same
key it was installed with.

Is your 'existing Windows XP Product Key' legitimate?
Are you installing it on the same machine it was previously installed on?
Is it a retail, upgrade or OEM key?
