My Windows 2000 Professional has become corrupted and will
not boot. I have the OEM re-installation CD (Dell), but
whenever I go to repair or install, it of course requests
my Product ID, and I apparently long since misplaced my
doc with this info. W2K boots to the Setup screen, and I
cannot get to a desktop to find the PID. I do have a
diagnostic floppy, and so can boot to a DOS prompt using
that. All the drives seem to read OK.
How can I either find the PID, or change the switch so I
can at least get to the Desktop?
Thanks a bunch.
