RE-install and default folder

Upon reinstallation, I must have selected something I don't want. My app is
on my c: drive and the website for me to edit is on our network -- H: drive,
in a folder and subfolder.

Problem is upon launch I am looking at the H: drive folders, not the site as
stored in a folder's subfolder.

I have checked to load the last site on launch, but it loads the H: folders.
I would like it, once again, to lauch and load the site from
h:\folder\subfolder. It did before, so I know it can again. How do I change
it without reinstalling?

Thanks.

The subfolder must be a subweb / subsite to open directly under a root web. Do you see a globe on
the folder? If not then it is a plain folder, not a subweb / subsite.

Tried that. When I shut down and relaunch I still go to the drives main
folders, not the targeted subfolder.

Other ideas? Do I need to reinstall?

I do have a globe on that folder. Don't want it that way.

I tried de-installing and reinstalling...still there.

Got more?

also...I think I may have answered YES (by mistake) when that drive first
loaded, instead of waiting for my real web site folder.

I must have created it....so, how do I uncreate that directory as web so
that I might make the real folder the web?

Help! Thanks.

If you don't want the globe, then open the root web, right click on the folder with the globe and
select convert back to a normal folder. Uninstalling and reinstalling FP will not effect any
existing web site that you have on your PC, that is why you see no changes.

Thanks again...but,

I see a globe on the folder when in FP. It allows no right-clicking.

Outside of FP every folder, subfolder has a selection of "Publish this...".
But I can find none that says convert back.

What you say is logical and I'm certain correct, but why can't I right-click
the globe?

Did I mention I run FP2003 on my machine and access the REAL web on H drive
subfolder. What shows in FP when launching is the H drive items. The REAL
web is accessable and successful, but FP always defaults to the H drive items
no matter what (seemingly) I do with the real web.

Can you see a solution?

Sorry, At this point I can't think on any solutions.
