Every now and then, my sound card is disabled for some unknown reason. All
options in the control panel "Sounds and Audio Devices Properties" window are
"greyed out". The only way I can get sound back is to re-start the computer.
Is there a way to re-initialise the sound card from within XP without
re-booting the machine--to save time?
Any suggestions appreciated.
