Just signed up with this forum, and wanted to say hello I have a question for the admin, or others. I know I am new here, but I just got a older desktop, running windows 98;It has a ATI Rage Pro LT Graphics card, with 4mb of Ram. was wondering if I can upgrade? are cards like that still around with more memory? Never hurts to ask.If anyone knows, please let me know. Thanks.

If you're using a machine that can run Windows 98, chances are that there are very few parts around for those aged machines. The limit on that machine is most likely the leve of PCI slot, if there is one at all. What type of motherboard do you have? I would start there. ID the graphics slot and the type and go from there. I can imagine that you won't find much and if Ebay doesn't have it, you'll have to pound forums and hope to run into someone with a pile of that old hardware.

Is it on board? Sounds like it might be. In such a case, do you have a PCI/AGP slot for upgrade. If not, you are probably out of gas unless you can solder and read circuit diagrams.
