re-entering passwords- no remember me box

On several sites, I have to re-enter user name and password. There is no
"remember me" box. Is there any way I can get the computer to do this for me
on those sites. I have 10 different sites like this and it is very annoying.

IE will remember these things for sites that are set up to allow caching.
Not all sites allow this as you've discovered.

Third party programs are available that can manage this information.
Roboform is one of many utilities like this. It's home page says its
ad-free but have never tried it. An internet search should turn up more
choices. Read agreements carefully when installing whichever program you
choose to avoid spyware and adware installations.
