Re-enabling BCM add-in in OL 2003

Hi everyone,

OL 2003 ( unusually ) had a problem starting up, but when it next fired
up I got a dialog box saying the BCM add-in had caused a problem and it
would be disabled. To re-enable it,

and of course that's where I auto-clicked on the OK box.

Dagnab it.

I thought ( naive fool ) that I might have gotten away with it, but
when I looked at a BCM contact every single mail in my inbox was
linkwed to their account.

So, can someone please tell me how to re-enable the BCM add-in? I
assume that this might knock things back into line.

Many thanks in advance!

Regards,

Dave.

Try Help, About, Disabled addins

Hi Diane,

Many thanks - it was showing as disabled, so that re-enabled it!

I still have the situation though where every contact is showing every
single e-mail sent and received in their individual history - whether
it was to them or not.

Any ideas how I can tidy this up, or is it a case of deleting them all
and then manually adding the mails to the history?

Many thanks.

Regards,

Dave.

Dave:

I've seen this before and I believe it ended up being a forms cache problem.
Clear the forms cache (Tools -> Options -> Other -> Advanced Options ->
Custom Forms -> Custom Forms (if you have the MSN connector installed, as I
do) -> Manage Forms -> Clear Cache) and then restart Outlook.

You *utter* star! That worked a treat.

Many thanks for that, I really appreciate it.

Dave.
