Go to >HKU >.Default >Control Panel >Keyboard >"double click"
InitialKeyboardIndicator >Change the figure to a 4 >click OK

(I just changed mine to a 2, so it would stay on)

Shouldn't that be a 0 to disable (all indicators off)? The value of 4 is for Scroll Lock.
