Re-Deployment of an old PC

I could use some suggestions here, probably a dumb
question though. I am moving a PC using Windows 2K from a
computer lab to a researchers office. Now that it will be
only used by 1 person, this researcher does not want the
login screen to come up, how do I set it so that she is
the default user everytime the computer starts up, as if
the computer was never set up for multiple users?
 
First you must make sure it's a member of a Workgroup not
a domain. Then you go to the Control Panel, then to Users
and Passwords then uncheck "users must enter a user name
and password to use this comper" then hit "ok", then
you'll get a screen asking for which account and password
to always use when logging in. Put the appropriate
account info in then the next time you reboot (and from
then on) it will automatically log in as that account.
