I have a power point someone sent to me, and the links to the video
are broken as they go to her desktop.... So instead of her having to
resend me the video is there a way to reconnect the video? I cant
seem to find the option.

This should help
Sounds/Movies don't play, images disappear or links break when I move or
email a presentationhttp://www.pptfaq.com/FAQ00155.htm
No, Im trying to avoid having the person re send me the powerpoint.
What Im looking for is a way to change the destination it goes to look
for the file. Simply reconnecting media. Is there no way to do this
in powerpoint?

I would put the video file into the same folder as the presentation, and
then re insert it. that way if it moves, the link should not break.

Yeah the problem is, she renamed them so I would have to rename them
elaborate names. And there are 50 of them, and they are enlarged and
they have text on top pointing to certain sections that I would not
understand since they are doctor related. So I was trying to find a
way to reconnect the media. I guess i am just use to advanced
programs where this is a common feature.

This little macro will let you edit the link if you like:
