I don't really know squat about routers so I'm hoping someone can be of assistance. I have a PC running Win XP Home with a cable modem and a Linksys BEFW11S4 (wireless) router connected to it. That router also used to be the internet source for my laptop, which runs Win 98 and has an ethernet card. A few weeks ago I had to re-format my PC, and somewhere in the hustle the entire connection from the PC to the laptop just dropped, and has been down ever since. The router (or the signal) is still installed on the laptop, but it hasn't been able to trigger a connection ever since. I've checked the Linksys website but I can't really find any decent tutorials on how to fix this problem or re-configure it. So, if anyone can lend a hand I would GREATLY appreciate it. Thanks! :o)
