When i start my PC and wait for Win 2000 to load up. A
message appears after checking the BIOS as follows:

Secondary IDE channel no 88 conductor cable installed

CMOS checkup error - defaults loaded.

Then, i continue. Windows 2000 seems to be loading, but
after a few minutes, the Mon just seems to be suspend,
blank and nothing happens no matter what button i press.

What's going on ?

Enter your BIOS, ask it to detect your drives. If it reports no drives
on your secondary IDE connecter but you in fact have drive(s) on it,
check that all connectors are tightly and correctly seated. Make sure if
this is a new config that all drives' master/slave jumpers are correctly
set. Also make sure you in fact have an 80-conductor cable in that
connector.
