I am doing a presentation that contains actual customer information from screen
prints. This is confidential and can't be shared. Does anyone know an easy way to
blur the wording to make it unreadable, without destroying the screen layout?

Rather than trying to do it in PowerPoint, I'd edit a *copy* of the original screen
capture in a bitmap editing program (Photoshop/PhotoPaint/PaintShop/MS Photo
Editor/etc). Most of them have a blur tool that should do nicely for this, or you
can simply paint over the text with the background color.

Then bring the edited image into PPT.

If you don't have the original image, select the screen grab in PPT, press Ctrl+C to
copy it. Switch to MS Photo Editor and choose Edit, Paste, As New image.

This will give you a copy of the original image at full resolution. Edit, save as
PNG and bring that back into PPT.

Note: this dodge won't work with other apps, just Photo Editor.
