Recentlly i had to re-install XP, on the same PC, using a legit/legal copy of
the disc i reinstalled and now it is telling me to activate my windows. ok no
problemo, i have the key right here, i type it in, all 25 digits and it keeps
telling me the key is incorrect, Is this because windows still has record of
the first time i activated using this key and they think i am stealing it?
how can i fix this problem so xp doesnt shut me out one day? i'm pretty sure
someone has had this problem or something similar but i've read too many that
dont quite fit the same problems, any help would be appreciated,
thanks for your time,

Hi go to start, accessories, system tools, activation, there should be a
phone number for Microsoft, phone them, they will re issue you activation
key number.

Are you sure you are typing the key correctly? It is easy to confuse
certain letters and numbers such as 6 and G or 8 and B.

Good luck
