Re-Activating Windows XP

I had to reformat my C drive and reinstall Windows XP Home Edition. Now it is asking me to activate the software and I'm concerned that since I have already activated the software once, there will be a problem.

Just activate.
Worst case is a 5 minute call (number would be on the screen) to
Microsoft.

If the hardware is the same, re-activation via internet should work in
seconds.

At worst, an 800 number will popup. Call it and explain what happened. I
had to call once, after several hardware changes in a short time period. No
problem, the Microssoft representative was very friendly. It took only 5
minutes or so.

There's no limit to the number of times you can reinstall and
activate the same WinXP license on the same PC. If it's been more
than 120 days since you last activated that specific Product Key,
you'll most likely be able to activate via the Internet without
problem. If it's been less, you might have to make a 5 minute phone
call.
