RDP Upgrade

The company I'm connecting to asked me to upgrade from RDC 5.1 TO 5.2. I can
only find an install download on the Microsoft site, not an upgrade option.
It won't allow me to reinstall because it already exists on my PC (Windows XP
Professional). I need a suggestion! Thanks!

It's a "file". Download it and run it instead of your usual MSTSC.EXE.
 
The file that I downloaded for 5.2 is MSRDPCLI.EXE, which performs the
installation when I run it. If you know of another file to download and run,
please let me know what it is/where to find it. Thanks!

No - you likely have the correct file.

The problem is you are still running the old version.
The new version does not *replace* the old version or make icons that I know
of.
However - if you look under Program Files - you will find it.

C:\Program Files\Remote Desktop

Make a shortcut to that one.

It is v5.2.3790.0.
