RDP password not saved when different user logs on

I've setup a RDP connection to a Win2K terminal server on
a Win2K Pro workstation which works perfectly. The
client was configured while logged in as an administrator
to the workstation and a shortcut to the .rdp file was
created on the desktop for all users. The password is
saved so that the user does NOT have to enter it when
connecting to the TS. The problem is that when a user
(other than the one that setup the original RDP
connection) logs in, the password does not seemed to be
saved anymore and the user gets a Windows login screen
instead of getting straight to the desktop. How can I
prevent this from happening so that when any future user
connects to the TS with this RDP connection, that it uses
the stored password set originally?

The password is probably not saved as a security
precaution. Instead of doing the configuration at the
client, can you adjust the configuration on the terminal
server by changing the settings on the RDP-TCP connection?

I've already unchecked the option on the TS to force the
password. The password is retained when connecting from
the original RDP connection, but does not get retained
when a different user logs in. My hope is to not have to
reset the password for the same RDP connection every time
a different user logs into the workstation. Is there a
different configuration option on the RDP-TCP connection
you might be refering to?

My thought was that if all your users were connecting
using the same account, then you could just force
automatic logon at the terminal server itself.
