I have seen RDP run on Win2k professional machines, but
for the life of me I have no idea how to install it. I
have read through half of this newsgroup but as of yet I
can't find the answer. I am not trying to remote into a
win2k machine, but use rdp on it, and I have no idea how
to get it installed.

thanks for your help
Melissa

Melissa, the Remote Desktop Client can be downloaded here
http//www.workthin.com/tsdown.ht

Once you've downloaded and installed the RDP Client (version is 5.2.3790), you can find instructions on how to use it here
http://www.workthin.com/tshta.htm#RemoteDesktopClientConfiguratio

Melissa,

copy the next files from a computer which has windows XP
as OS

mstsc.exe
mstscax.dll
mstsc.chm

copy them to c:\winnt\system32, after that go to the start
button type in mstsc and there is the TS client of windows
XP in the windows 2000 OS, this works in Windows NT too.
