I need to use the RDP client as a training tool. I need it to be
interactive. Default setup is to lock the host computer while I'm working
via RDP remotely. I would like for the user to be able to see what I am
doing/changing. Is this possible??

Bill,
To the best of my knowledge, the answer is no. This was a purposeful
decision by Microsoft for security purposes so that while one is away then a
passer-by will not be able to observe any activity.

*Note* - you still need to know how to properly configure any firewall
