Hello all,

Does anybody know how to do this? I've tried on both Windows 2003 and XP
with no success.

Hello all once again,

I actually didn't realize that nothing had to be done in order for the
windows 2003 server to use the COM ports on the RDP client. I was under the
impression that I had to run a Net Use command.

I'm a Pocket PC developer and have my development environment on the
terminal server and I need to be able to Sync the Pocket PC device remotely
with my Visual Studio environment.

My problem is the following, it actually looks like the terminal server made
a connection to the terminal client's COM port. However when it tries to
initialize the connection, the Pocket PC responds by saying "connecting to
host, retry 3" but the connection is never established.

If anybody has any clue please let me know. Also, should I be posting this
in a different news group?

I don't believe you can ActiveSync via Terminal Services, at least that is the consensus of the
folks over on the news group... Personally, I
ActiveSync remotely via a PPTP VPN link to my XP Pro desktop...
