RDP Client drive mapping over VPN

I have Cisco PIX to PIX VPN setup between two offices and
am connecting clients in one office to 2000 Terminal
Server in other office using RDP client. Redirection of
local drives does not work for clients. It does work when
I connect to the TS from that local network, bypassing the
VPN. Any suggestions?

Thanks.

How are you redirecting the drives if the server is Windows 2000?
Redirection with 2000 TS does NOT use RDP, it uses simple SMB. Your VPN may
be filtering shared drives needed to get this working.

On the Local Resources tab of the RDP client I have Disk
Drives selected to be mapped. I have tested this with a
client that sits on the same network as the TS, bypassing
the VPN, and it works. So I am pretty sure it is the VPN
blocking but I haven't figured out yet. The ACL statement
I have set should allow all traffic I think. Do you know
what I should allow, if anything additional?

Thanks.

If you are using the Disk Drives on the Local Resources tab, this works ONLY
WHEN CONNECTING to a WINDOWS 2003 TS.
Does NOT work if the TS is Windows 2000. Windows 2000 uses RDP5.0 and this
feature was only implemented on RDP5.1 and 5.2.
So again, if the TS is Windows 2000, does not matter from where you connect,
this will NEVER work.
