I posted this a couple of days ago.
Nobody really has an idea on how to solve this?
It's very important for me.
Thanks!
Hi,
I used to connecto to my office from my house through a
VPN connection (with no encryption whatsoever). Once
connected I could use the remote desktop connection in
order to access to my PC at work.
Today I installed a WLAN in my house that allows me to
connect my pc without a cable, directly to the access
point and then to the Internet (with my usual connection).
Everything works fine (i get 22MBit full speed) and I
still can use my VPN connection with no problem.
I can mount the disks of my office PC, browse the remote
network, but whenever I try to use the Remote Desktop
COnnection, the application tries to inizialize and then
fails with an error message related to "network problem".
As soon as I switch to the wired connection (I can do it
on the fly by reactivating the lan cable and disabling
the wirless one) the remote desktop works again.
There are no firewalls or any other filter. The remote pc
is visible (i can also browse the web server I installed)
and as I said before with the wired connection everything
works perfectly.
What is the problem then?
Thanks in advance

I'd suggest you talk to the vendors of your router/modem or anyother device
you use to connect to the internet to see if they've heard of this issue.
Also, see the eventlog of your server to see if you've can find anything
useful.
