HI all,
I hope I am in the right place. I have a desktop that has the RDC up
and basically running. I say basically because I can access it from
work, but only if I put the work IP into my firewall (Zone Alarm). If
the IP isn't there, I can not get into the home system. I am running
XP Pro at home and WIN 98 at work. I am running DSL and I have a
Linksys Wkireless-B Broadband Router and the ports, 3389 and 80 are
forwarded to my PC. How do I fix this problem where I can access the
home pc from anywhere without having to load the IP that I am at?
Second, I also have a notebook at home and it is also connected to the
home network by way of the router. How do I use the RDC to see the
laptop and vice a versu. I keep getting the error that there is no
terminal server on the net.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
