rcp fix (time savers)
I have found in working with my customer that if you go
into internet option clear your cashe (for speed)
set your homepage to: http://support.microsoft.com/?
kbid=823980 or the exact location of the patch for your
operating system
start downloading your patch and save it to the desktop
then run task manager and end process on these:
MSBlast.exe
rpc.exe
rpctest.exe
dcomx.exe
lolx.exe
worm.exe
This process has given me enough time to download the
patch even for my dail up customers!
