RC2 -- No 64-bit yet

Why is 64-bit always the forgotten stepchild? lol

In any event, according to Nick White (Vista Team Blog and MS Project
Manager):

"Windows Vista RC2 English (x64), German x86/x64 and Japanese x86/x64 coming
very soon!"


"Very soon" this afternoon meant 4 hours later. And, I won my bet about it
being posted before 6 pm Redmond time.

I hope 64-bit does show up "very soon." Meanwhile, 32-bit is coming in with
Getright at about 550 K/sec so I'll install that on another computer ---
tomorrow morning! <g>
