The two times that my PC had to restart it just stuck and I had to restart
using the restart button.
I was installing RC2 and this never happened in the previous releases.

What do you mean it just stuck? What was on the screen?
Are you doing a clean install of RC2 or an update from a
previous release?

Thanks Theo,

I was doing a clean install of RC2.
The screen just goes blank and NumLock or Ctrl+Alt+Del didn't respond.
I realize that the problem was not only during the installation, when I try
to restart I got the same problem and I have to restart it manually.

Yes, I just reinstalled the OS again and the same problem occur.
And when I try to shutdown, the system do all the shutdown process but at
the end, the monitor goes off (without signal) but the computer remains on
and stuck.

Nothing close to this occured since Beta 1...same machine, same hardware.
I'm going to report the issue with the MS Beta Client.

Thanks, If you have any news, just post it...I'm going to test what happen
with Hibernation or Sleep functions...

When I put the PC to Sleep, the screen goes blank/off and then I can't wake
it up. I had to restart from the button.
Hibernation works well, even shutdown the PC and the start up is clean.

Installing VIA VT8237 Driver 5.30c fix the problem. You have to select the
driver manually, because if you let Windows to choose the right one, it will
say that you have the best driver already installed. I took the solution from
another Post in this site as a lot of people had this same problem.
I noticed that my PC is loading faster than before as well, I think that
this driver (or another newer from VIA optimized for Vista) should be
included in the installation.
