Hi,

I have been using RC! for a few weeks, and like it...tho MP11 skips during
playback.

I d/ed RC2, burned the ISO file to dvd, and tried to boot from the disk, and
it just continues to boot to RC1 and doesn't try to install RC2...It
recognizes the disk to contain the ISO file, but no install....I want to
check out RC2 but can not load file....any help would be great! Thanks in
advance! karl

Did you check the .iso to make sure you had a good download? Is your BIOS
set up to boot from your DVD first? If it is put the DVD in and reboot. The
5744 DVD should start to load files.

The disk isn't supposed to contain the iso file. The disk is supposed
to contain files and directories. It sounds as though you didn't build
the disk correctly

How do I "build the disk" properly? I believe I followed the same process as
I did when I downloaded RC1...I d/led the file, burned it to dvd, and
rebooted....any help would be sweet!

When you burned it to DVD, did you use the burn Image option or just copy the
file to the dvd?

Like the other have mentioned, you need to use one of the DVD burning
programs (Roxio, Nero, Alcohol 120%, etc) and specify that you want to burn
an ISO image to DVD. The burning program will extract all of the files plus
make the DVD bootable when you burn the disc. I don't know if Vista RC1 does
anything more than simply copying the file to the DISC.
