RC1 to vista ultimate

No. You would need to purchase a "Full License" version of Vista
and perform a "clean install".
 
It's not possible, but even if it were, it wouldn't be a good thing. Clean
install is best with new OS.

Vista works differently from all earlier versions of Windows. Vista is
installed by a block copy process. XP and earlier were installed by file
copying. It makes a difference because a block copy guarantees that there
are no pieces of the old OS left. All installations of Vista are clean
installations of the OS.
