RC1 slower than pre-RC1

I don't know what may be the reason but applications take much longer to
start running under RC1 than under pre-RC1.

Have someone else noticed it ?

I have not changed my hardware. Same computer, same settings.
 
Dunno if it would make any difference, but did you do an upgrade or a clean
install?

Waiting for RC1, I was wondering what I will do.

I did a clean install, but I already solved it :-)

It was an application I installed that was really slowing down the whole
Vista performance:
http://www.4t-niagara.com/tray.html Don't use it on Vista.

Now RC1 is working very nicely. Seems faster than pre-RC1 :-)
 
That is likely just perceptual. It is not different from 5536 enough to
matter.
