RC1 doesnt install

I got RC! and when i boot off the disk it goes to the busy bar (the lil green
bar that moves across the screen over and over) and stays there for 45+ min

i managed to try another computer but during the install it crashes at the
same spot everytime... any suggestions?

Can you please tell us your system specs and if you are using the 32 bit or
64 bit version of RC1?

I have an AMD athlon 3800+ 512 RAM 300GB HDD
I have tried both x64 and x32 with the same results
