Hello,
I am very new to this, so I am going to need some hand holding. I just
setup a domain and migrated everything to it just fine, however my RAS server
is not authenticating to the domain controller and or is not authenticating
to Active Directory.
The odd problem I am having is, if I stop RAS and then restart it, my users
can access it just fine, but say, an hour goes by, all of a sudden no one can
remote in any longer. They get to the point where it is verifying their
username and password and then fails.
I check the event viewer on the server and this is what the error message
reads:
"The specified domain does not exist". And it creates this entry everytime
someone tries to get in.
What are some basic things I should check either on the domain controller or
the RAS server to make sure I have everything configured?
Thank you very much!
Michael
