Gentlemen;

I setup my File server as Remote access Server, i already
enable the routing and remote access. The client can
connect through dial up connection, theres an
authentication but i encounter some problem:

1. There is a message before it connect "set by callback"
by the server.

2. I can ping all our server, ISA, Exchange , File and i
can see all of them though RUN command like //isa
(computer of my ISA server) but when i click the network
places i see all the shared drive, folder on my network
not the computer name in my network, even i click the
workgroup there is a message i can't access.

3. I can't not access the internet connection, i put in
the LAN settings(proxy) the IP address of my ISA server.
but i can use my email account in MS Outlook.

Please help with this matter.

Thank you for the info you will give it to me

To access the proxy service, you need to enter the proxy server address in
the remote connection properties, not the LAN connection.

Go to Internet Options | Connections, select your connection and click
settings. Enter your proxy server address here. There is a separate box for
LAN connections.

Thanks

But how i ca't see all the names of yhe computer on my
network, when i click the Network places i just also see
all the shared files on my network. I just go to RUN
command and type //computer name just too see the computer.

Do you mean i will put the IP address of my proxy server
under the dial up settings not on my LAN settigs

Thanks
again

Yes, that is exactly what I mean. If you connect to a remote network
through a dialup connection (RAS or VPN), and you want to use the proxy
service on that remote network, the settings for the proxy service must
associated with the connection.

Thanks Bill

Yeah ts working now i can access internet now.

But i want to see all my computers on my network when
using RAS through dial up connection. I'm just go to RUN
command to view each computer.

Thanks
