I'm trying to set up an XPE computer to accept incoming connections via a
serial port. I can open up the control panel to create an incoming
connection. I tell the wizard that I want to be the Host. I tell it to
listen on COM1. After the wizard completes, it places the Incoming
Connections icon in my Network Connections. If I right-click and choose
Properties and look at the General Tab under the the Incoming connections, it
says that "No hardware capable of accepting calls is installed."
I don't understand that. I have the Communication cable between two
computers installed. I have 2 COM ports installed and configured on my
computer. I know there has to be something that I am missing.
Does anybody have any thoughts/comments on things that I need to try?
