I want to make a ras connection from Italy to The
Netherlands. In The Netherlands it's working perfect, but
when I use the county-code in the telefoonnumber (+31 or
0031) I get an error 651. When I use another application
that calls to another country, there's no problem.

Can somebody help me

Best wishes

Here in the US, the format we use is:

Dial 011 to establish the international call.

Dial the number you wish to reach

[country code] + [area code] + [telephone number]

From the US you must dail 011 to reach The Netherlands,
but in Europe you have to dail 0031 or +31. The telephone
number is not the problem, but windows2000 that gives the
error.

Thanks for your answer.

Error 651 means that dial-up networking received an error from the modem.
Can you dial the exact same number using hyperterminal or another program?

Thanks,
