RAS Domain Issues

Okay, I finally got my new XP client to log on to RAS and was able to join
the PC to the domain. When I log on as Administrator (remotely), I log onto
the Domain resources fine, however when I log on as the User, none of the
Group Policy objects are processed, and the log indicates no Domain
Controller is available. Help!

What type of rights does the user have on the machine?
also have you tried running the gpupdate command to see if
you can get the policies to refresh? Here is a link that
explains the gpupdate command

The user has basic domain user rights? Is more needed for a RAS Client to
join the domain?

The gpupdate produces and error that no DC can be found.
