Raptor 10,000 rpm hard drives, small but fast

It's a little cramped at 36 GB, but I like efficiency anyway. I'm still
enjoying the raptor 10,000 rpm hard drive which was recommended here.

Anybody else have one? Notice it rates extremely high on system hard
drive benchmarks?

The 36 was the first of the Raptors. The 74 and 150 each improved on it
quite a bit.

I have a pair of the 74s. They are very quiet, unlike the complaints
typical from early owners of the 36.

Get two and make a RAID 0 set. Twice the space and maybe twice the
speed, depending on how you use it.

They're cheap.

I can't vouch for the new ones, but I bought a pair of 36's back in 2003.
They sound like twin turbines on a jet. Hopefully, the newer ones have
taken care of some of the noise...
