TAJ - Thanks, sounds wonderful. I am using ppt 2003, and it refuses to "addin" your extracted ppa file. Is there a problem with ppt 2003? Each time I click 'add new', and locate the file, press 'ok' it returns to an empty dialog box, with another opportunity to "add new", any ideas?

Check your security settings. Chances are they are set to "High" which means
that most macros and add-ins won't load. Try setting it to low or medium and
see if the add-in works then.

Also, the add-in won't work with the Viewer. It doesn't support VBA.

Irish woman,

What Kathy said.....but also

...and it refuses to "addin" your extracted ppa file.
It's not *my* add-in. ;)

Cheers

If you are resorting to VBA, you can also check out my examples 8.16 and
8.17 (click on "Examples by Chapter" and "Chapter 8") at:

I like to think of it as "ascending to VBA" after having resorted to
PowerPoint. ;-)

[TOP ISSUE - Are you having difficulty opening presentations in PowerPoint

Hello,

As you've discovered, this functionality in PowerPoint is only provided
through programming (such as VBA, add-ins, etc.).

If you (or anyone else reading this message) think that it's important that
PowerPoint provide this kind of functionality (without having to resort to
VBA or add-ins), don't forget to send your feedback (in YOUR OWN WORDS,
please) to Microsoft at:

http://register.microsoft.com/mswish/suggestion.asp

It's VERY important that, for EACH wish, you describe in detail, WHY it is
important TO YOU that your product suggestion be implemented. A good wish
submssion includes WHAT scenario, work-flow, or end-result is blocked by
not having a specific feature, HOW MUCH time and effort ($$$) is spent
working around a specific limitation of the current product, etc. Remember
that Microsoft receives THOUSANDS of product suggestions every day and we
read each one but, in any given product development cycle, there are ONLY
sufficient resources to address the ones that are MOST IMPORTANT to our
customers so take the extra time to state your case as CLEARLY and
COMPLETELY as possible so that we can FEEL YOUR PAIN.

IMPORTANT: Each submission should be a single suggestion (not a list of
suggestions).
