Random Stop Errors in XP

I'm getting random stop errors (BSODs) in Windows XP. I've tested my ram,
reinstalled video card drivers, scanned for viruses/spyware, etc. I highly
suspect that it's a driver problem, but I'm having trouble identifying which
driver it might be. I've tried sfc /scannow and running the driver verifier.
Driver verifier was left for an hour testing all drivers without a problem.
I don't know what else I can do to solve this problem.

If anyone has any ideas about this, please let me know. Thanks.

System specs: Pentium 4 2.4ghz, Asus P4S8X mainboard, Samsung 512mb pc3200
ram, GeForce MX 440 video card, Windows XP SP1.

I have no idea what's going on with your system.
But let me tell you what's happening with mind.
First the screen would free when playing resource taxing games.
Then I started having BSODs. More and more frequent BSODs which
can be resolved only by a reinstall. Finally even the reinstall only
survived
for a few minutes. Having exhausted all the tricks I have, I resorted to
dismantling
everything, the harddisk, cd and dvd players, motherboard; even the power
supply and
dust them. One thing I found during this is that the screws that hold the
motherboard
to the case were loose. Even more alarmingly, the screws to my heatsink fan
unit (it is bolted
to the motherboard and therefore to the cpu itself with screws. Not with
clip) has loosen up.
They were still there. But they were very loose. So I swapped this HSF with
the old one.
The one with fastening clip. I also tighten all the loose screws (beware not
to overtighten them).
I am not saying that this is your problem. But I almost bought a new
harddisk, power supply,
graphic cards, and even a motherboard. The reason I hadn't bought any new
gagdets was
because I couldn't be sure what the culprit was.
