My PC will randomly crash issuing a "Stop 0x00A" and does
not automatically reboot even though auto reboot is
enabled. Worked with HP for 6 months trying to resolve,
but they gave up (won't return my phone calls). The
problem seemed to start after installing HPs newest video
driver, but HP insists it not their sw problem.
BTW - a loud click is heard from either the display or PC
just before the screen goes black and then dark blue with
the stop error. The PC has to be powered down and back up
manually to recover.
Has anyone encountered this problem and resolved it?

Thanks for replying. I tried to restore the original video
driver (the original driver only supported 16 colors) but
kept running into install questions from the MS uninstall
sw that I wasn't sure how to handle and didn't want to end
up with no video driver at all. BTW - the crash happens
when I'm at various websites reading a news article but
otherwise not running any other applications.
