I am running Windows XP Home and have started getting random sound
effects--gunshots, explosions, horns, etc.--whenever I use my sound card. I
am running a SoundBlaster 5.1 sound card over a Pentium 4 1.6 GigHz
processor.
I am not sure this is occuring with every sound application but it may be.
When I play audio, CD's, or other audio, these effects jump in right in the
middle of the playback.
Is this a known issue, virus, hack, joke or some other issue?
Please help.
