hi my pc semms to reset its self during gaming , i`ve
checked for all the viruses , and to my knowledge i
havent changed anything or updated and drivers lately .
since it has started it has become more frequent . I have
run memory test and my ram seems ok . since i havent
changed anything im very puzzeled...... any ideas anyone?

Hi,

Accumulated heat inside the chassis may be the problem.
Try open the side plate of the chassis and play the games
again. If there is no restarting after a prolonged
playing, heat is the culprit. Try install more tower fans
to improve air ventilation inside the chassis.
Clean the fans of the CPU, GPU, and heatsinks by a can of
compressed air may be helpful. Also clean the
ventilations fans, powerpack fans and their outlets to
ensure no blocking of airflow.

Hope it helps.

Are you showing any SaveDump events in the event logs? Curious if the
machine might be blue screening as well.

I get no blue screen , its as if someone just pushes the
reset button , but it only happens when im gaiming ,
every time i play . although it has happend while im on
my desktop but only once . the tempreture is no higher
than normal. one thing i can add is that a couple of
times when its reset the computer just hangs and the
monitor goes into standby like when the computer is
off... man this is realy getting to me :(

Open Control Panel - System - Advanced and click on the Settings
button in the Startup and Recovery (bottom) section.

In the Startup and Recovery window click on the checkbox for
Automatically Restart to clear it.

Click on Apply and OK as needed to exit.

That should stop the computer from resetting itself. However the
resets may be replaced by Blue Screen Of Death STOP errors and the
computer may then lock up requiring a manual reset. However the
contents of the STOP error will be a direct clue as to the underlying
cause of the problem.

Check out the STOP error message on MVP Jim Eshelman's STOP errors
page at http://www.aumha.org/win5/kbestop.htm or you can post the
information from the STOP error message, including all of the
parameters, back here.

Good luck
