Random rebooting

Can anyone tell me, why are there some games causes
windows 2000 to randomly reboot? This is odd as I never
experience this before when I had windows ME.

Windows ME and Windows 2000 are completely different operating systems
behind the User interface. ME is DOS based and 2000 is NT based. The
reason your PC "randomly reboots" can usually be determined by the error
/stop messages the system will provide if you turn off Automaticly
Reboot in Startup and recovery. Press Win key + Break and select
Advanced to get there. If you don't get any error messages ( "just goes
black and restarts" ) then you have marginal hardware, overheating,
flakly RAM, system overclocked, or other.

I don't know, but it is pain in the ass. I have War Craft
3 and it is an error in War Craft program code, not
Windows 2000. I don't think there is a patch for it.
When I am playing with 7+ computers and me, it seams to go
down. I don't lag, I just reboot at ramdom about 1 out of
every 20 games. Shut down everything (virus, firewall,
task bars, and alot of the BS in teh MS config file) It
seams to help.
