Random internet shutdown

While searching the internet, there are random sites that
automatically shut down Internet Explorer and I'm back to
my desktop. These sites seem to have no connection to one
another. For instance, I can't get into HSN network or
Victoria's Secret or Country Wall Murals. No connection
to one another whatsoever! I can't even get into these
sites...Explorer shuts down immediately.

Hey Pat,

Try updating Internet Explorer with the latest updates and fixes. If still
doesn't work try scanning your computer for any viruses or spyware.

Just out of curiosity, have you gotten "Java Runtime Environment" installed on
your computer? (check in control-panel\add-remove & see if it there). If
not, you need it. Go to the "Sun" website and get it.
