random freezes

Hey all,
I've been having a problem lately with random bootup freezes.
I'll start up the computer, and sometimes the screen doesn't even turn on,
the drives don't spin, yet the computer is on. Other times, it will boot up,
but start right at the video card bios screen. It's pretty weird, being that
it's not something that always happens, but it is annoying.
