I have Vista Home Premium and power point 2000 SR1
While dragging from ACDC 8.0 to powerpoint 2000 I get an error "Server
Busy...action cannot be completed because microsoft powerpoint "file name" is
not responding, choose "switch to" and correct the problem.

This happens 2 out of 5 times, its random

the PC has 2GB of memory

thanks,

Peter

This is so that you can get images into PPT?

Dragging from another app is a bad way to do it, generally.

Save the image, then use Insert, Picture, From File to bing in the image
instead.

Yes I'm entering them into PPT, My client LOVES ACDC and doesn't want to do
the insert picture method. I just didn't know if this was some funky Vista
issue

thanks

They may just have to get used to problem presentations, and probably very large
presentations at that. But it depends on what ACDC puts on the clipboard and what
PPT pulls in as a result.

If you want to test, have a look here:

Show me the .Type of each object on a slide
http://www.pptfaq.com/FAQ00007.htm

If a slide with nothing but one of these pictures says it has an OLE Embedded
Object, there may be difficulties.

If it says it's an embedded picture, you're good to go.
