Random change of Browser Home Page

From time to time, my browser (IE6) home page will be set
to something other than what I want it to be. Also, my
Favorites folder will have things in it that I didn't
add. How can I prevent this?

some virus will change your home page and antivirus
software will stop it plus script blocking,but for fav if
you have antivirus software it could be something like
but not sure adware or someone is using your computer and
they are not telling you,make a hard password if so. you
can try a firewall if it is coming from the internet.
