Random 1168 Even Messages Post SP4

I am experiencing the symptoms as described in Knowledge
Base Article #827531. The document describes a Post SP-4
hotfix that is to only be installed to address this
specific problem. Can anyone direct me as to how to
obtain this hot-fix?

As the article mentions, you'll need to contact MS PSS to obtain it. It's a
free hotfix.
