My IE just recently started sucking away all PC
processing by absorbing 98 - 99% of CPU resources. Is
happening consistently after having IE open for a few
minutes & simply surfing. Only way to move on is to kill
process in Task Manager. Any ideas or suggestions on
what to look for in a fix?

Thanks

CPU pegging at 100% is a sure sign of Spyware.
Try running either SpyBot Search & Destroy or Lavasoft's Ad-aware
*first* - scan like you would with your pre-installed anti-virus scanner.
If no joy, run "Hijack This" - FAQ and download on these tools >
